This feature is intentionally limited to the U.S. Atlantic Coast. Gulf Coast, Great Lakes, Pacific, Alaska, and non-U.S. stations are excluded.

Predictions use Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW). Tide height is not current velocity and should never override local marine warnings or safety judgment.

Slot validation

One fish per day, ≥28" to <31", measured straight-line with the tail squeezed — applied by location.

Circle hook interlock

Natural bait requires confirming inline, non-offset circle hooks, as Massachusetts rule requires.

Handling protocol

Wet hands, horizontal support, minimal air time — every landed fish, every time.

No swapping/upgrading

A retained legal fish cannot be released later in favor of a larger legal fish. The first retained fish completes the day’s one-fish limit.
